DRESS CODE
On the Course
We do accept fashion changes very quickly and our policy is that any smart,
recognised golf clothing and golf shoes with either soft spikes or
dimples should be worn. Tailored shorts (NOT cargo style) may
be worn with any variety of sports socks.

Mens Golf Shirts

Men’s golf shirts must be fitted with
sleeves and be tucked into trousers.

Athletic, basketball, football, numbered style
shirts or tracksuits and cargo style shorts.
Golf Shoes
All golfers must wear golf shoes when playing and
also when using the practise area and putting green.
Non golfers must wear appropriate, flat footwear.
In the Clubhouse
Any smart casual clothing is acceptable, but we would
ask that caps be removed when inside the clubhouse.
Smart denim-wear is permitted within the clubhouse
and its immediate vicinity but only if they are clean,
and are free of any fraying, holes, rips or tears.
Non playing guests/children may be excluded from
these rules at the discretion of the club manager.
Dirty, muddy or wet clothing is not permitted in the Clubhouse.
Mobile Phones
Mobile phones are allowed on the golf course at Abergele Golf Club, as long as they do not disrupt
your playing partner or hold up play. In the clubhouse, phones are also permitted but should be set
to silent during club presentations or functions. Please be considerate of others when using your
device and follow the club’s internet and wifi policy.
