GENERAL RULES AND BYELAWS
The Clubhouse will be opened at 7.00am and will close in conjunction with the
licencing laws.
The licencing hours will normally be the following: Mondays - Fridays 11.00am. 11.00pm. Saturdays 11.00am. - 11.00pm. Sundays 12 noon - 10.30pm
However, please note the above is subject to change and if amended then members
will be advised accordingly.
All golfers playing between 8.30am and 4pm must report to the Pro shop before play.
Members may introduce visitors, but not more than three per day per member.
A visitor may only be invited as a visitor to the club twice a month up to a maximum
of 12 times per year. Members are also reminded that they are responsible for their
visitors’ conduct whilst on club premises. Visitors may be introduced by members or, at
the discretion of the Secretary, on his authority.
Members guests will need to pay a green fee/day fee, which is half of the full day rate
in the Pro Shop. Their details will need to be entered into BRS by the member or via the
Pro Shop. They will need to pay their green fee in the shop prior to play.
The general dress rule in the club is smart casual but prize winners are expected to
wear a jacket and tie when attending a presentation.
On the course shorts may be worn with sports socks, but playing in a vest or without a
shirt is not permitted.
The practice of wearing hats/caps back to front is not permitted.
