CLUB KNOCK-OUT COMPETITIONS
The rules for each KO event will be set out clearly on the entry sheets. Once the draw
has been made there will be no alterations, the only exception would be in better-ball/
foursomes format where an injured player may be substituted before the first round
has started. All competition rounds must be played by the given dates - without
Exception.
It is the responsibility of both sides to make contact to agree a time and date. A
minimum of 3 alternative dates must be provided which must be a combination of
weekend and week days.
It is advisable to play the matches well in advance of the last date in case of inclement
weather. Failure to play by the nominated date may result in disqualification for one or
both sides. All matches tied after the final hole will decided on a sudden death basis
with strokes being taken again on the appropriate holes, the second time around.
Results should be posted on the draw sheet.
It is intended that all finals matches will be played on FINAL’S Day in September,
(Date in Fixture Book) if you are unable to play on this date please do not enter the KO
competitions.
Should any player be involved in more than one final and it is not feasible to play
both on Final’s Day then one final must be played before that Sunday to allow all KO
trophies to be presented on Final’s Day.
The Club Rules Official must be consulted if there is a dispute and his/her decision is
final.
CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS
Both Men’s and Ladies’ section have qualifying competitions for this end of season
event.
The Rules should be posted on the respective boards.
Any dispute will be resolved by the Club Rules Official and his/her decision is final.
